Anushka Singh is a Bollywood actor. She is amongst the highest-paid actresses, and has been awarded numerous nominations for her performance. Nush is also a Brand Ambassador for several businesses and has her own women's clothing collection. Forbes Magazine has featured her as well. Anushka Sharma is the youngest child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka's father is a colonel (retd.) Her mother works as household worker. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's elder brother, served as a Merchant Navy officer and is now a film producer. Anushka graduated from Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore granted her a Bachelor of Arts. Anushka possesses a Master in Arts (Economics). Anushka wasn't interested in being an actor but rather she was interested in becoming a model or reporter. Anushka enrolled in Elite Model Management after graduating in the field and received training from Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka's first time as a fashion model was in 2017 in which she was a model in the shoes of Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week, and then was picked by Rodricks for a role in the Spring Summer 2007 collection. Her modeling career started at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in several campaigns, including campaigns in support of Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started auditioning films as an actor and attended an acting class in addition to her work as model. Anushka sharma made her film debut in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She was in the film with Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she was not willing to take the test in a hurry and instead spent one day to get ready. Later, she was signed to three films by Yash Raj Films. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the movie (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. The year 2010 was the year that Anushka Sharma starred in the film 'Badmash Company with Shahid Kapoor, and Shahid Kapoor. Das and Meiyang Chang. The film received mixed reviews. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat', in which she played the role of a Punjabi middle class girl who started her own business. The movie received positive reviews and turned out to be a sleeper hit. Anushka completed her three-film deal with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
